Andrei Octav Moise Gives Praise to the Friends of the National Center on Birth Defects and Developmental Disabilities

Andrei Octav Moise is an esteemed businessman and community leader who constantly strives to be knowledgeable in many things. As a figurehead who is constantly looked up to by people in the field, he makes sure to stay informed of various events he thinks are of utmost importance. One of these things involves organizations and discussions that talk about healthcare.

As someone who cares a lot about his employees’ welfare, he knows to pay attention to not only his employees’ health, but also to their family’s health. Having a family member with a sickness or disability can severely affect a worker’s mental and emotional capacity out of worry, and will hamper their capability to do their work effectively as a result, especially if the patient is their child. Recently, Moise has shown particular interest in an organization that aims to help those with birth defects and developmental disabilities: the Friends of National Center on Birth Defects and Developmental Disabilities.

For those uninformed, the National Center on Birth Defects and Developmental Disabilities (NCBDDD) is a part of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) whose focus is on the prevention of birth defects and developmental disabilities, as well as the promotion of the health and general wellbeing of those who are afflicted with these health conditions. Their mission is to improve the health of those who are affected through the identification and treatment of these birth defects and developmental diseases. They achieve this through a series of methods starting with performing research on what causes these conditions during infancy and childhood, finding opportunities to prevent and treat them, and supporting those with disabilities.

Meanwhile, the Friends of NCBDDD is a partnership between government and private sector participants where they work together to support and further enhance the mission and activities of the NCBDDD. In particular, they help children develop and reach their max potential, and also promote the health and wellbeing of both children and adults alike who have disabilities. Their aim is to support programs that are able to improve their lives and raise awareness of their condition to the general masses. Through their efforts and actions, the Friends of NCBDDD strives to make the general community recognize their struggles and make them feel included and accepted.

Moise is pleased to know that organizations like the Friends of NCBDDD are constantly working hard to ensure that these people get the help and support that they really need. In addition to all their advocacy and support, they have also engaged in community building; what they do is open the door for disabled individuals and their families to foster connections with other disabled individuals, as well as researchers and professionals who are capable of supporting them, through various events and workshops that induces collaboration, knowledge sharing, and networking.

Overall, Moise says that the Friends of NCBDDD is an important organization for all its actions to help those with birth defects and disabilities. Through all their actions and efforts, more people are able to understand those affected and create an inclusive society that recognizes their rights as individuals and gives them chances to live the life they deserve. As someone who cares, Moise urges others to join their membership and help them in any way they can.
